Standard organza is composed of 100% polyester or 100% nylon, or created through the interlacing of fibers such as polyester/nylon, polyester/rayon, or nylon/rayon. Silk organza consists of 100% mulberry silk. Organza is produced by processing nylon or polyester filament yarns through texturing and false-twisting, followed by yarn splitting, resulting in a monofilament with a distinctive texture; it is also known as "Kegen" or "Ougan" yarn. It is a plain-weave fabric with a transparent or semi-transparent quality. Its style and range of applications can be enhanced through post-processing techniques such as crinkling, flocking, hot stamping, and coating.
