One-Way Twist Creates Linen-Like Style
Unlike two-way S/Z twist fabrics, this 6 ply silk crepe uses a strong one-way twist in the warp. After dyeing, the warp contracts, forming irregular vertical waves. The weave is firm, resists yarn slippage, and has small open holes for breathability. It feels soft, smooth, and slightly linen-like. The fabric has natural stretch and recovery, making it easy to wash and draping well.
